Our global headquarters in Germany is a registered qualified member of the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB), providing the system for our certifications and the framework of our Training Academy. The DGNB is a non-profit organization founded in 2007 with the aim of promoting sustainable and economically efficient building practices. It is the largest network of its kind in Europe and the second in the world. The DGNB focuses on a holistic approach to sustainability, considering environmental quality, social aspects, and economic efficiency. The DGNB System is a planning and optimization tool for assessing sustainable buildings and districts, and it has recognized more than 10,000 projects in over 30 countries with DGNB awards.
